Drivers CE regional trips
At Laebens Logistics, the driving force behind the innovative Logistic Centre Zwevegem (LCZ), we combine strong family values with a forward-looking vision of supply chain management. With our own inland terminal on the Bossuit-Kortrijk canal and an impressive storage capacity of 140,000 m², we’ve grown into the key intermodal hub of South-West Flanders.
As a fast-growing company, we are looking for new CE drivers to support and strengthen our growth. You’ll join a logistics company with a close-knit, family atmosphere and a stable team.
Ready to help shape the future of sustainable logistics?
Your role
As a CE driver for regional routes, your job is varied and involves two types of transport: coil trailers and containers. You’ll regularly switch between the two, offering you a dynamic and diverse workday.
Coil trailer transport:
- You make 6 to 7 regional trips per day – free from traffic jams – to various customers.
- Your schedule is fixed, and you return to our site in Zwevegem approximately every two hours.
- You are responsible for loading and unloading your trailer yourself, using a forklift.
- The work involves physical tasks: securing loads, loading and unloading (including at customer locations).
Container transport:
- You handle first- and last-mile deliveries from our container terminal in Zwevegem.
- This includes trips to the ports of Antwerp and Rotterdam.
- Some administrative work is involved: you’ll check and handle all transport documents carefully.
- Your Cargocard and Alfapass will be essential for port access.
- Your client base is not fixed, which means variety in destinations and assignments.
What we’re looking for
- You’re not afraid of physical work.
- As a CE driver, you value the fact that you can return home every day.
- Efficiency is important to you, but safety always comes first.
- Dutch-speaking? Great! If you also speak a bit of French, that’s a bonus.
- ADR (basic) certification? Excellent!
- Got an Alfapass and Cargocard? That’s definitely a plus.
- Code 95 on your licence? Check!
What we offer
- Your Flexible starting hours between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m. – we’ll agree on a schedule that suits both of us.
- Average working day of 12 to 13 hours.
- Competitive salary in line with Joint Committee 140, including meal allowance and ARAB compensation.
- After 3 years, you’ll be given a company van.
- And most importantly: a friendly, supportive team of colleagues!
