Warehouse Team Leader

Are you an experienced warehouse employee who likes to take the lead?

Do you enjoy working on the warehouse floor while also keeping an overview and supporting your colleagues? Then we are looking for you!

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you are an important link within our warehouse operations. You help lead the team, monitor the daily planning and ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently and correctly.

Your job

You are actively involved on the warehouse floor every day. You know what is happening, see where adjustments need to be made and make sure the planning is followed.

Your responsibilities include:

Supervising and supporting warehouse employees and order pickers.
Carrying out stock checks and double-checks of picked goods.
Helping to monitor the warehouse planning, including container unloading and order preparation.
Welcoming and training new warehouse employees as their mentor/buddy.
Providing operational support whenever necessary.
Acting as an important link between the warehouse floor and the office.
Quickly identifying problems and changes and helping to find practical solutions.
Setting priorities and making sure the team knows what needs to be done.

Who are you?

You are someone who enjoys taking responsibility and gets energy from a job where no two days are the same.

We are looking for someone who:

has experience as a warehouse employee and can confidently operate a reach truck and forklift;
works in a structured and organised way;
takes responsibility and follows through on agreements;
is stress-resistant and can keep an overview even during busy periods;
has a real helicopter view and quickly sees what needs to be done;
can easily set priorities;
communicates clearly and respectfully with colleagues;
is driven and hands-on;
can communicate fluently in Dutch and French.

Experience in supervising a team is an advantage, but above all, your right attitude and sense of responsibility are what make the difference for us.

Gross hourly wage based on your experience and competencies.
Meal vouchers of €4 per day worked, increasing by €1 for each year worked.
